These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding legal agreement between you and RenteezTM that govern your right to use the websites, applications, and other offerings from RenteezTM (collectively, the “RenteezTM Platform”). When used in these Terms, “RenteezTM,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to the
RenteezTM platform with whom you are contracting.
The RenteezTM Platform offers an online avenue that enables users (“Members”) to publish, offer, search for, and reserve rental items. Members who publish and offer rental items are “Owners (Rentee)” and Members who search for, reserve, or use rental items are “renter.” Owners offer rental items and
each Owner offering is called as , a “Listing”. You must register an account to access and use many features of the RenteezTM Platform, and must keep your account information accurate. As the provider of the RenteezTM Platform, RenteezTM does not own, control, offer or manage any Listings. RenteezTM is not a party to the contracts entered into directly between Owner and Renter.
If you are an Owner, you are responsible for understanding and complying with all laws, rules, regulations and contracts with third parties that apply to your rental items.
- Following are the terms of payment for Owner
- RenteezTM will charge flat 15% service charges on the rental amount charged by owner on each transaction.
- The accumulated amount for every calendar month will be paid within 30 days unless there is a dispute filed by renter
- Any promotional RenteezTM Cash will be paid only once for first transaction within 60 days provided the account is kept alive with live items for consecutive 180 days.
- Following are the terms for Renter
- RenteezTM will NOT charge any service charges on the rental amount charged by owner.
- Renter will be charged for rental amount as well as deposit separately for each transaction
- The deposit money will be returned immediately upon completion of rental return unless there is a dispute filed by owner
- Any discount will be provided only once for the first transaction if the renter is registered user.
Text Messages (SMS)
- Program: Renteez account and rental alerts, operated by Reminiscence Technology: one-time login codes, account security alerts, and rental notifications (booking requests, approvals, pickup and return reminders, payment status and new message alerts). No marketing or promotional texts are sent.
- Consent: a mobile number and agreeing to these texts (the SMS box on the sign-up form) are required to create an account. You can stop the texts at any time by replying STOP; your account keeps working.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to cancel at any time (UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work). You will get one message confirming you are unsubscribed and no more texts after that. Reply START to subscribe again.
